On November 1, 2025, the second "Marketing Scientist/Marketing Engineer Forum" and the 2025 Annual Conference of the Data and Market Research Committee of the Chinese Marketing Association of Universities (CMAU) were held at Wuhan University. Jointly organized by the CMAU Data and Market Research Committee and hosted by the WHU School of Economics and Management under the theme "Market Research and Marketing Innovation in the Artificial Intelligence Era," the event attracted nearly 180 experts, scholars, and corporate representatives from over 100 universities and enterprises worldwide. Jiang Xingli, Member of the Standing Committee of the WHU Party Committee and Director of the Organization Department, attended the conference.

During the plenary session, distinguished scholars delivered reports aimed at "addressing pain points in market research during the AI era and injecting academic momentum into high-quality marketing development."
The conference also released the "Blue Book on Cultivating Marketing Scientists and Marketing Engineers 2.0." Based on an analysis of 110,000 corporate recruitment data points, the report identifies six core job categories and outlines objectives for cultivating 50,000 high-quality marketing talents, providing strategic direction for future talent system development.
