Abstract:
This lecture will focus on conducting theoretical dialogue and enhancing theoretical contributions in management research within the digital intelligence context. It will clarify the concept of theoretical contribution and introduce a systematic framework of thinking and methods to improve research theoretical impact, supported by specific research literature.
Speaker's Academic Profile:
Professor Yan Ming holds a Ph.D. in Management from Hong Kong Baptist University and has previously served at Lingnan College of Sun Yat-sen University. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Enterprise Management at Jinan University's School of Management. His research focuses on organizational behavior and human resource management, specifically in the areas of organizational socialization, proactive behavior, and leadership. His work has been published in top-tier academic journals including Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Human Resource Management, Acta Psychologica Sinica, and Journal of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management. Professor Yan has led three National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and one Excellent Young Scholars Fund project.
